Financial Assistance Options for Lean Six Sigma Professional Development
While we offer limited direct discounts, several financial strategies can help offset the program costs:
For Non-profit & NGO Associates
- Eligible for free or discounted training and certification if you work with a non-profit, nongovernmental organization (NGO) or social good organization (as staff or volunteer)
Employer-Sponsored Options
- Direct payment by your employer – Many organizations allocate budget for professional development. Organizations and businesses that investment in their employees increase the chances that they will stay with the company longer, which reduces long term hiring costs. Talk to your manager or human resources (HR) department to learn more.
- Seek external grants and funding – There are also some grants and tax breaks companies can get for training that may offset or cover the costs.
- Reimbursement upon completion – You pay for the program, but your organization reimburses you upon completion. Project improvements typically justify the investment. We can almost guarantee that your project will show enough improvement that it will fully pay for the coaching program (and then some!), which makes it a low-risk option for your company.
- Performance-based compensation – Consider negotiating a bonus or salary increase upon certification to help offset your investment in the program.
- Indirect benefits – If direct reimbursement isn’t available, explore alternative compensation structures or employee benefits such as reduced work hours per week, more workplace flexibility (work from home), time allocated to special or passion projects at work, access to mentoring with leadership and more.
Career Investment Considerations
- Career advancement potential – This certification may qualify you for promotion or higher salary bands.
- Market value enhancement – Certification can boost your resume, allow you to meet qualifications for positions seeking candidates with Lean or Six Sigma certification, and strengthen your position when seeking new opportunities within your current organization.
Personal Payment Options
- Payment plans available – Contact us to discuss flexible payment options for your situation.
- Non-profit project option – Conducting your improvement project with a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization (NGO) or social good organization may qualify you for discounts. We review your potential project and the organization, and make sure we have sufficient expert resources to volunteer as a coach/mentor. Contact us to discuss your situation.
- If you’d like to volunteer to help coach or mentor someone on one of these social good projects, contact us to let us know!
